Tips To Fly Time in the TSA Line

Daily we hear about the long TSA lines in our airports.  To make time fly in the TSA line consider:

1.  Sweet or Sour: Wave at strangers and see who will wave back.

2.  Using your phone or iPad to:
  • Play a game
  • Make a to do list
  • Clean out your email
  • Read
  • Listen to music, ebook
  • Listen to a sport event.
  • Catch up on the news
  • Send a text to someone you haven’t talked with for awhile.
  • Call a friend or family member.

3.  The Alphabet Game: Find the letters of the alphabet from A-Z on objects around you like clothing and signs.

4.  Talking to others around you: People come from different backgrounds, you could learn something you don't already know.

5.  Mind Wandering: Let your mind wander from topic to topic.

6.  Solving a problem: This is a good time to brainstorm solutions to a  problem.

7.  People watching: You never know who you might see.

8.  Reviewing your bucket list: Add to or cross off.

9.  Reading a magazine: For some, it’s easier to handle the magazine in a line than a tech device.

10. DO NOTHING! You always have the option to move with the line and do nothing, but wait.

Plan your waiting line activities before leaving for the airport, such as the night before you travel. We all know how hectic it is once in the airport. Planning your TSA line entertainment relieves  stress and helps get your trip off on the right foot. Have Fun!

Top of the Charts

According to U. S and World News Travel, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana is #9 in Best Punta Cana Hotels and #1 in the Hard Rock chain. On my Top 10 Chart, it ranks among the top 5.  Why?Because it...

  1. Has a beautiful long, white sand beach with comfortable beach chairs AND...the water to go with it is out of this world...turquoise blue.
  2. Fender guitar room service is 24 hours and delivery is fast.
  3. Hard Rock Casino...need I say more.
  4. Rock Spa that offers a unique, music immersive, Rhythm & Motion experience.
  5. Larger than life display music memorabilia.
  6. Little Big Club with Barney, Bob the Builder and Thomas the Tank Engine for the young ones.
  7. Woodward Club with a skate and BMX park, plus indoor snowboarding and skiing (coming summer 2016).
  8. 13 pools!
  9. Guest rooms with large furnished balconies, seating areas and Jacuzzis placed in the middle of the room.
  10. Free in-room calls to the U. S.

Best of all....it's all-inclusive!  I'm all for that! What about you?
My footprints can be found on the beach, in the casino, Rock Spa, guest rooms, and checking out the grand lobby display.

Who Doesn't Want to Be A Rock Star?

There is no better way to break-in a new blog than to give you the opportunity to be a "rock star." There's only one place you can go that allows you to step into the shoes of some of the most famous rocking' stars....Hard Rock...Hotel & Casino, Punta Cuna. The place is "rocking'!" During the day whether at the pool or beach, there is always action: volleyball, pool games, water sports, games for the kids (young and old). At night, live music, DJ, and karaoki when you really can sing your favorites and possibly be joined by the one who made the song famous...you never know.  What
makes the resort a hit...it's all-inclusive. Eat as much ice-cream and homemade popsicles as you want. Getting a pizza at Pizzeto is a must! With 9 restaurants, you won't go hungry.  The tough decision is which restaurant you will go to each evening.  They are all my favorite. The spa is one of the largest I've seen and definately a must to prepare for the night ahead. The rooms.. luxurious, spacious, relaxing, hydro spa tub, private balcony, comfortable beds....after a day at the beach, spectacular dinner, and lounge hopping....a perfect place to crash after a busy day having FUN!I left footprints at Hard Rock in Punta Cana and brought home many memories. Take advantage of the Thanksgiving promotion...have fun, leave your footprints and take memories home, too.
